Terms of Service

Welcome to Junto. These terms are an agreement between you and Junto, which operates joinjunto.xyz and the Junto apps. By creating an account or using Junto, you accept these terms.

If anything here is unclear, write to support@joinjunto.xyz and we will explain it plainly.

Junto matches neighbors into small recurring carpool groups and handles the scheduling and payments for those groups.

Junto is not a transportation carrier. We do not provide rides and we do not employ drivers. Junto is the tool your group uses to organize itself.

You must be 18 or older to use Junto.

Give us accurate information and keep it current. Keep your sign-in credentials to yourself; you are responsible for activity under your account.

Guest access lets you try Junto with limits. You can save a guest session into a full account whenever you are ready.

Every member verifies their identity before riding or driving. Verification is performed by Stripe. Junto receives the result of the check and does not store your identity documents.

Verification has a one-time $2.00 fee. Your receipt is itemized:

Identity verification (Stripe) $1.50

Junto operations $0.14

Drivers must hold a valid driver's license, drive a registered and insured vehicle, and follow the law.

Drivers on Junto are independent members sharing a commute. They are not employees or contractors of Junto.

Drivers are responsible for their vehicle and their insurance.

Riders prepay their scheduled days at the per-mile price shown before booking, based on the miles actually ridden.

Each scheduled day a rider books has a minimum price of $2.00.

Drivers receive the earnings shown in the app after a day completes.

Junto retains a service fee from rider payments. The price a rider sees and the earnings a driver sees are always final and always shown in exact dollars before anyone commits.

Payments and payouts are processed by Stripe.

Plans change, and Junto is built for that. You can skip a scheduled day.

When a driver skips, the day is offered to the other members of the group.

A skip close to departure carries a fee. Any fee is shown in exact dollars in the app before you confirm.

When a day cancels, riders are refunded for that day to the original payment method.

Treat the people in your group with respect.

Coordination stays in the in-app group chat. Do not exchange contact details or arrange payment outside the app.

Harassment and discrimination have no place on Junto.

Junto may suspend accounts that break these rules.

How we collect and handle your information is described in our Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms.

Rides on Junto are arranged between members. When you ride or drive, you accept the ordinary risks of sharing a car with other people.

Junto provides the platform as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Junto is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for disputes, accidents, injuries, or property damage arising from rides arranged between members.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

You can stop using Junto and close your account at any time.

Junto may suspend or end accounts that violate these terms.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination do survive, including payments owed, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law.

When we update these terms, we post the new version here with a new effective date.

Continued use of Junto after an update means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.

Disputes are resolved in the state or federal courts located in Florida, and you consent to their jurisdiction and venue.
